Engie group’s subsidiary and natural gas storage services provider Storengy has deployed enterprise information management (EIM) service provider OpenText’s information hub to improve compliance and day-to-day operations management.
The deployment of the solution will also enable Storengy to expedite the creation of critical reports for the business, on-site operations and regulatory authorities, required during the course of its management of multiple projects.

The reports provide information related to compliance and operational activities that assist with day-to-day monitoring and management of storage operations.
Storengy Engie transverse performance engineer Pierre Dudit said: “The OpenText solution offered the ability to scale-up easily by purchasing new licences and capitalising on a well-developed, scalable system.
“Previously, it would take our in-house team of developers one to two hours to develop a report. With OpenText, we instantly save time and gain new visibility into the data that matters to our business.”
According to the company, the solution eliminates the need for sorting through spreadsheets.

The OpenText solution is currently being used across multiple departments of the company, ranging from marketers to technical staff located in the field.
Storengy is planning to expand the solution to other divisions, as well as its parent company Engie in France.
OpenText has also helped the company to deploy a dashboard that can be used for internal communications.
