Norwegian offshore services provider DOF Group has secured two new contracts in Brazil.

The Skandi Logger, an anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel with a bollard pull capacity of 250t, has been contracted for a four-year engagement with oil company Petrobras.

This follows a competitive tender procedure that previously saw contracts awarded for Skandi Iguaçu, Skandi Angra, Skandi Paraty, and Skandi Urca.

The Skandi Logger is expected to begin operations under the Brazilian Flag in February 2026.

Under a separate contract, Petrobras secured the services of the Skandi Achiever as a remote subsea vessel (RSV) for four years.

The contract is set to begin in December 2025, directly continuing from its current engagement in Brazil.

Petrobras' contract includes the use of the Achiever's two work class remotely operated vehicles (WROVs) and subsea crane.

The combined value of these two contracts exceeds $275m.

Fugro has also been awarded four multi-year contracts by Petrobras for the scrutiny and surveillance of essential subsea infrastructure in Brazil.

These contracts are expected to start in the fourth quarter of 2025 and will run for four years, with the possibility of one-year extensions.

Each contract will be serviced by a dedicated vessel, with two managed by Fugro and another pair run by partner entities, all fitted with Fugro's remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) to conduct examinations and surveillance of subsea assets.

Earlier this month, Petrobras finalised three contracts with Consag Engenharia, valued at approximately 4.9bn reais ($892m), for the completion of Train 2 at the Abreu e Lima Refinery (RNEST) in Pernambuco, Brazil.
