Alberta Star Development has successfully drilled and cased its first well in its Phase II Drilling Program in Landrose, Saskatchewan in Canada.
The firm’s Phase II Program will consist of three wells, the first one on Section 16-50-26-W3M and the other two on Section 6-50-25-W3M.

The first well was successful in targeting the McLaren formation, and production from the well is expected to begin this month.
The drilling rig was released and is being mobilised to start work on the other two sites. Both wells are expected to be drilled and completed within the next two weeks.
