Alberta Star Development has successfully drilled and cased a second well in its phase II drilling programme in Landrose, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Phase II comprises three in-fill wells, with the first located in section 16-50-26-W3M and the second and third wells located in section 6-50-25-W3M.

The drilling rig has moved to the third well location and has spudded. This well is expected to be drilled and completed within the week.
Production from the newly drilled second well is expected to begin by the end of 2010.
