Osyka Permain, a subsidiary of Osyka Corporation, has completed its acquisition of the Una West field in Victoria County, Texas, US.
Osyka founder and CEO Michael Harness said that the field appears to have upside gas potential in a shut-in well and the firm will work expeditiously towards evaluation of behind-pipe potential in the shut-in wells.

The field, which produces 20 barrels of oil per day and no gas sales, is expected to increase its production within 45 days, according to the firm.
Other shut-in wells in the field are being evaluated for potential workovers to restore oil production.
Osyka has identified several new opportunities in the area that could re-establish the Victoria / Jackson County area as a core operating unit for the firm.
