Fluor Corporation will provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for Santos’ Gladstone Liquefied Natural Gas (GLNG) project in Queensland, Australia.
The EPC contract, worth $3.5bn, includes upstream facilities for the 7.8 million tonnes-per-year LNG project, which will extract and liquefy gas from coal deposits for eventual export to Asia and other global markets.

Fluor had already received an upstream front-end engineering and design contract for the GLNG project in June 2009 and an early works contract in May 2010.
