Australia’s Range Resources is to conduct fracture stimulation to augment hydrocarbon flow rates on the Russell Bevly well at the North Chapman Ranch project in Texas, US.

The operation will be performed in four stages with the fracturing fluid and proppant being placed in each of the four sand reservoir pay zones that were logged earlier in the well.

On completion of the operations, all four sand pay zones will be brought into production simultaneously, resulting in significant production growth, according to Range Resources.

The company also mobilised a rig on site to spud the Ross 3H well located in the East Cotton Valley Prospect of Texas.
