The Apollo system is based on above-ground control over the down-hole gas lifting process and eliminates the need for well intervention.
The Ultra CEMS contract includes the assembly of large precision machined metal components.
Camcon Oil CEO Ian Anderson said the Apollo systems need to be robust, reliable and built to the highest standards.
“The potential impact of this technology is incredible, bringing not only increased recovery from existing oilfields, but also enabling non-viable fields to be brought back into production,” he said.
