To gather gas from the acreage for processing, Southcross will convert an existing dry pipeline system to rich gas service.

Initially, the McMullen extension will have an expandable capacity of 120 million cubic feet of natural gas per day and is expected to come into service in mid-2011.

The pipeline will begin from McMullen County and extend to Southcross’s CCNG Transmission pipeline for gas delivery to its processing plant near Gregory, Texas.
