Glen Rose Petroleum is to drill and deepen five wells on the Wardlaw and Adamson leases in Edwards County, Texas, over the next three weeks.
The firm will drill three new wells to a depth of 1,100ft, deepen two existing wells to increase production and test all three basal trinity sand zones.

The research and reworking of data collected from over 160 well logs and cable tool records showed the possibility of oil in the Upper, Middle and Lower Basal Sand Zones.
Glen Rose Petroleum president and chairman Andrew Taylor-Kimmins said the firm will increase production in 2011 to create a positive cash flow and attain profitability.
