Total has entered into agreement with ExxonMobil to form a partnership operated by ExxonMobil to develop the Chelm and Werbkowice gas exploration concessions.
According to the agreement, Total will have a 49% interest in the concessions with ExxonMobil retaining the remaining 51%.

The Chelm and Werbkowice exploration concessions cover an area of 1,162km² and 995km², respectively, and are located in the Lublin Basin in south-east Poland.
The work programme for each concession will consist of the acquisition of seismic data and drilling of an exploratory.
ExxonMobil has already performed seismic acquisition works and the drilling of an exploratory well on the Chelm concession, which is being evaluated.
