CB&I has won a $300m contract for a new natural gas processing plant in Florida, US.

The scope of work will include the engineering, procurement and construction of a 200 million cubic feet per day natural gas processing plant.

In addition, the firm will also construct and procure full fractionation and treatment capabilities, storage tanks and loading systems.

Lummus Technology, a CB&I subsidiary, will provide its NGL-Max recovery technology for the new processing plant.

CB&I president and CEO Philip Asherman said that the firm is well positioned to support the infrastructure development needs of these projects in the US shale basins.

The contract will be completed in 2012.
