In November, Sipchem began the last preparations for operation of the VAM plant, which has a VAM production capacity per year of 330,000t.

Du Pont has supplied the technology for the plant.

The operation of the acetyls complex will help Sipchem in the diversification of its product portfolio and will provide opportunities for downstream industries in Saudi Arabia that will help expand and diversify end products industries.
