It is the primary target of the J-50 well and is the producing reservoir in the offset North Akkar oil field.

The reservoir is expected to be 120m thick, overlying a regional shale basement.

With the intersection of the middle triassic “A minus” formation, the J-50 has closely followed the geological prognosis.

Jupiter plans to evaluate the formation further, complete the J-50 well and begin production testing soon.
