Boardwalk Pipeline Partner (BWP) and Southcross Energy have teamed up to provide infrastructure for natural gas producers in the Eagle Ford Shale production area in South Texas, US.
BWP will modify an existing section of its subsidiary, Gulf South Pipeline’s 30in pipeline, to enable the flow of condensate-rich Eagle Ford Shale gas in that segment.

Southcross Energy plans to link its existing gathering facilities in South Texas to the newly modified Gulf South pipeline segment to transport condensate-rich Eagle Ford gas to four Gulf Coast processing plants currently served by Southcross Energy.
The plans are expected to be operational later this year and both firms will seek to expand their pipeline capacity in this region, Boardwalk said in a statement.
