Russia’s Gazprom and Beltransgaz have signed a supplementary gas transit agreement.
Beltransgaz director-general Vladimir Mayorov told the Belta news agency that the firms have signed the required documents setting the transit rate for 2010 at $1.88 per 1,000m² per 100km.

“The parties are now doing a final check on their accounts,” Mayorov said.
To date, Gazprom has paid Belarus $228m to cover its November-December gas transit debt and the debt for the first five months of 2010 based on a $1.45 gas transit fee.
The transit fee of $1.88 per 1,000m² per 100km urged by Belarus would increase Gazprom’s debt to $260m.
Gazprom has acknowledged its remaining $32m gas transit debt to Minsk, according to Belta.
