Southwest Resources will acquire about 860 acres of oil leases in northeast Oklahoma, US, from RC Oil.
The leases are made up of shallow oil wells that produce about 25 barrels of oil per day.

There are additional development opportunities within these leases and current operations may be improved to increase the oil production, according to Southwest.
The firm also plans to use technology by QortechOil to significantly increase the yields.
