Due to its location the GasPort facility will have a significant impact on the supply to Buenos Aires and the north of Argentina.
The facility is scheduled for completion in May 2011 and will be fully integrated with Argentina’s existing gas transmission utilities.
The facility will accommodate an Excelerate Energy 150,900m³ Energy Bridge Regasification Vessel receiving and regasifying LNG cargos via conventional LNG carriers using Excelerate Energy’s ship to ship transfer process alongside the jetty.
Excelerate will also provide modular equipment and process control components based on its GasPort technology.
