The Sharjah Government, UAE, has awarded Petrofac a contract to take over the operations and facilities management of the Sajaa Gas Plant and its associated assets.
Petrofac won the five-year contract, which is valued at over $250m, in a competitive bidding process.

The government will become the concession operator while Petrofac will take control of the operations by the end of 2010.
