The firm plans to rebuild the mainline pipe largely along the existing right-of-way at a size and pressure capable of replicating current services. It will keep the same route to minimise environmental and other impacts.

The company will retire mainline facilities to the north of Winnsboro to Monroe and from Natchez to Zachary, Louisiana. A Natchez-Plus line option is designed to upsize the Natchez line.

The firm plans to begin the regulatory process necessary to allow reconstruction to begin in the late spring or early summer of 2014.

American Midstream Partners provides midstream services in the Gulf Coast and Southeast regions of the US.
