UK-based integrated production data solutions specialist Aventa Systems has secured two specialist contracts from Talisman Sinopec Energy and Dana Petroleum, worth about £655m.

As part of the deal, Aventa will provide a variety of data sources to Talisman’s unique management information system, which will display production information and key performance targets on innovative dashboards.

The company will also provide business analysis of Talisman Sinopec Energy’s asset management systems and be involved in the ongoing development of a bespoke production allocation system.

In addition, Aventa will manage Dana Petroleum’s IT systems to measure production outputs from its assets.

The company will also provide the metering and allocation of production information to Dana Petroleum partners.

Aventa secured the contract, after Dana adopted the ownership of the Triton floating production and storage offloading (FPSO) vessel from Hess.

Aventa Systems managing director Bill Whibley said that the Talisman Sinopec Energy contract allows the company to prepare for another strong performance in 2013.

"The Dana contract was transferred from Hess during the migration of the Triton asset to the company in October and we’re equally thrilled to be involved in this exciting time in the firm’s development," Whibley added.

Aventa Systems provides integrated production data systems to the global oil and gas industry.

The company will also manage the implementation of hydrocarbon accounting system of Talisman Energy.
