Australia-based Drillsearch Energy has announced that Beach Energy will commission the Bauer-to-Lycium oil export pipeline in South Australia.
Beach Energy is the operator of the Bauer-to-Lycium crude oil pipeline, which is part of the PEL 91 joint venture.

Commissioning of the pipeline is expected to increase net oil production to about 6,000 barrels per day, uninterrupted by harsh weather.
The pipeline can export about 10,000 barrels of oil per day, while filling of the pipeline will commence imminently.
Once full operation begins at field production facilities, pipeline exports will reach about 10,000 barrels of gross oil per day.
The company’s net oil production from PEL 91 has increased from about 2,200 barrels of oil per day to a current rate of about 3,200 barrels of oil per day.

Drillsearch Energy managing director Brad Lingo said after oil exploration success in the Western Flank Oil Fairway, the company has reached the mark of 6,000 barrels per day from 200 barrels of oil per day, with the completion and commissioning of the Bauer-to-Lycium oil export pipeline.
"With our Joint Venture partner, Beach Energy, we have delivered this with tremendous drilling results delivering a run of 17 out of 19 successful oil exploration, appraisal and development wells with only two P&A wells since August 2009," Lingo added.
Drillsearch Energy has 60% interest in the PEL 91 joint venture, while Beach Energy holds the remaining 40% stake.
