FX Energy has started production at its Lisewo gas facility in Poland with an initial rate of around five million cubic feet per day.

The company announced that gas produced at the Lisewo-1 well is the first to be processed from the new facility.

It will also service two other investments: the Komorze-3 well, which was discovered in 2012 and the Lisewo-2 well, which was recently prepared for production.

"Casing has been set and cemented through the Zechstein and coring operations have started at the Szymanowice-1 well."

Gas harvesting at Komorze-3 is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2014.

Lisewo-2 is currently undergoing a production test and is expected to start services in the second half of 2014.

Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG) is the operator of all three wells, which are located in the Fences concession. PGNiG owns 51% of the working interest, while the remaining 49% is held by FX Energy.

FX Energy announced that casing has been set and cemented through the Zechstein and coring operations have started at the Szymanowice-1 well.

The target of the Szymanowice-1 well is a Rotliegend structure situated about 2km south-east of the Lisewo field.
