
Northcote has announced it will commence fracture stimulation at the Big Hill #1 well in the Horizon project, Osage County, Oklahoma, US, from 18 March 2013.
The second fracture stimulation will target the Big Hill #2 well, which will follow the Big Hill #1 well.

The Big Hill frac tank liner project is now complete, with the required water resources being procured from local resources.
Northcote said the fracture stimulation results will be based on the first 30 day average production rate, after the recovery of injected water volumes.
The company plans to deploy hydraulic fracturing techniques on the unfracked horizontal wells on the Horizon project to increase production.
The company’s average working interest is about 37.5% in the ten wells of Horizon project.

By GlobalDataNorthcote CEO, Randy Connally, said the upcoming commencement of Northcote’s fracture stimulation programme at the Horizon project will enhance the company’s net production and group revenues.
"Fracture stimulation can initially increase the productivity of a previously untreated well by 2 to 30 times, and with this in mind, we look forward to announcing the outcome of these initiatives after production volumes have stabilized," Connally added.
The work over programme on the Little Drum unit, which includes saltwater disposal pipeline system, is expected to be completed in the next 30 days.
Northcote has reached the target depth of 4,226ft in the Burkhart#1 well, and plans to evaluate completion options in the Viola and Mississippi Lime formations.
The company has drilled target depth of 1,820ft on the Bray #1 well in Bird Creek prospect, while it plans to drill Keese #1 well by the end of March or April 2013.
Drilling has been completed on the Busse #1H and Bouziden #1H-17 wells in the DeAgua project and the wells are ready for production.
