Intergraph® opens its fourth annual Intergraph 2011 PP&M Mexico users’ technical conference today in Mexico City, bringing the country’s top process, power and marine companies together for a day of informative sessions and networking among industry leaders.
The event is sponsored by Intergraph’s Process, Power & Marine (PP&M) division, which for 30 years has provided local resources to support engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) companies and owner operators executing projects and operating facilities in Mexico.
Intergraph 2011 PP&M Mexico features presentations by Josué A. Montoya of Northam Engineering and Manuel Salcido of the Mexican Institute of Petroleum (IMP). Several Intergraph technical experts will also speak, including Charles Evans, the PP&M division’s chief technology officer and executive vice president.
The leading EPC companies working in Mexico are gathered at the conference, as are representatives of the main divisions of Pemex, the state oil company of Mexico. Together, they are discussing the principal trends of engineering, safety, quality and productivity, focusing on their experiences and sharing best practices in an open dialog between engineering companies, suppliers and owner operators.
