Viking Moorings rents and sells a wide range of mooring equipment, including anchors, chain, kenters and connectors, wire, fibre rope, chaser and grapnels, shackles, buoys, swivels, spin buoys, and the MultiDog, a versatile ROV-operated deployment and recovery tool for subsea operations.

Crane wire

Viking Moorings is a market-leading supplier of crane wire and an expert in supplying wires used specifically for installation of subsea systems. We supply wire in all lengths and deliver dimensions between 30mm and 128mm. Viking Moorings is always working to improve both length and dimensions for deeper waters and heavier equipment in offshore operations.

Chain inspection services

Our mooring services are supported by a comprehensive range of equipment handling inspection and repair services. We operate chain inspection and repair units worldwide, where inspection and repair work can take place on a continuous shift basis without interruption from bad weather.

Viking Moorings is approved by most certifying authorities to carry out chain inspection and has been granted approved service supplier status from DNV in relation to working practices and audited inspection procedures. Viking Moorings is the first company in the UK (and only the fourth company in the world) to attain this status.
