The Punj Lloyd Group has won an engineering, procurement and construction contract from India-based energy firm Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for an offshore project in the Bombay High oilfield, offshore Mumbai, India.
The $97.3m contract includes the design, engineering, procurement, fabrication, transportation and installation of a 122km submarine pipeline.
The scope of work also involves commissioning the laying of rigid submarine pipelines in six segments for oil and gas, a subsea tie-in at the Heera trunk line and modifications at the BBP and BCPA2 Complex in the B&S field.
In addition, ONGC will develop the WO-16 cluster field, which lies south-east of the SH process complex in the Mumbai High Field in water depths of 75-80m.
The project will be commissioned in May 2013.
