Farzad A is a conventional gas development located in shallow water in Iran and is operated by Iranian Offshore Oil. Farzad A lies in block Farsi, with water depth of around 295 feet.
The project is currently in feasibility stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2026. The development cost is expected to be $3,000 m. The Farzad A conventional gas development will includes wellhead platform.

Production from Farzad A
Production from the Farzad A conventional gas development project is expected to begin in 2026 and is forecast to peak in 2027, to approximately 980 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2054.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 948.31 Mmboe, comprised of 5,689.85 bcf of natural gas reserves.
