Amec Foster Wheeler’s completions and commissioning company, qedi, has secured an extension of its global Master Service Agreement from BP.
qedi signed the agreement in 2012 and has been providing services ever since.

The new contract means that services would be extended for two years until December 2019.
qedi is an exclusive partner providing completions and commissioning support services to BP on a global basis.
In addition to completions and commissioning manpower services, the agreement also includes all licenses and support for qedi’s GoTechnology products.
qedi managing director Barry Cann said: “qedi has been providing completions and commissioning support services to BP for over 15 years.

Amec Foster has also been contracted by BP International to provide engineering, procurement support and project management services for pre-FEED (front-end engineering and design) and FEED work across a range of projects. The contract was awarded last month and will run for three years.
Amec Foster is engaged in offering design and maintenance of strategic and complex assets for clients in the energy sector.
qedi offers completions and commissioning services to the oil and gas sector.
