The company drilled the well to a total depth of 15,885ft, including a 4,800ft lateral, and finalised – from spud to first production – within 70 days.

Crimson has begun production from the Catherine Henderson #A-9 well in Liberty County, Texas.
The well was drilled to a total depth of 13,150ft in the Cook Mountain formation.
The company has also completed 14 stages of frac at the Kodiak #1 well in the Mid Bossier Shale at the Bruin Prospect Area of San Augustine County, Texas. Initial production will begin in two weeks’ time.
