Cloud-based oil and gas software provider Quorum Software has announced that midstream company Secure Energy (SES) has implemented its FLOWCAL solution for measurement needs.
Quorum claims that FLOWCAL is the industry standard for hydrocarbon measurement.

This oil and gas measurement software is used to consolidate, validate, correct, as well as report meter data for liquids and gas.
SES Measurement and Crude Oil Quality, Logistics, and Volumetric Accounting manager Jarret Torris said: “As we continue to grow, we saw the need to implement technology to help us manage additional measurement points without adding more resources.
“We selected FLOWCAL based on the level of automation and accuracy the system can provide and the ability to identify imbalances and manage all of our measurement data.”
With the FLOWCAL solution, SES can integrate all key accounting information between its measurement and accounting systems.

SES senior measurement specialist Rob Denholm said: “Our ability to gather immense amounts of accounting data has been streamlined and now everyone in our company is aligned and collaborating more effectively.”
Quorum’s software is claimed to have enabled SES to benefit from more than 250 configurable validation set points used across the industry to validate and report measurement of gas and liquids.
The oil and gas measurement software increases operational efficiency by reducing data management complexity through automation.
In April, CNX Resources implemented Quorum Software’s revenue accounting and division order software to increase operational efficiency.
In February, Quorum Software acquired data management software applications provider EnergyIQ.
