Oil and gas AI-powered optimisation solutions provider Ambyint has announced that Alta Resources has selected its Ambyint InfinityPL and SmartStream technologies to advance its well optimisation capabilities.
Alta will deploy Ambyint software at its wells located primarily in the Marcellus basin to improve operational efficiency, as well as drive additional cash flows.

Ambyint InfinityPL enables a 7% production increase on plunger lift wells detecting ‘anomalous’ conditions. It also determines optimal controller set points.
Regardless of basin, early anomaly detection and optimised production are ‘consistent challenges’ for most of the plunger wells.
With the help of InfinityPL, producers will receive improved production outcomes.
It enables predictive maintenance opportunities and improves well stability while leveraging the existing supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) infrastructure.
