Saipem has secured two offshore contracts under its current long-term agreement with Aramco, issued as contract release purchase orders (CRPOs), with valuation of around $600m in Saudi Arabia.
The first contract, CRPO 162, runs for 32 months and covers the engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) of about 34 km of pipeline in 20-inch and 30-inch diameters.

It also includes related topside works at the Berri and Abu Safah oil fields.
CRPO 165, the second contract, has a 12-month term and involves subsea intervention work at the Marjan field, along with the EPC of 300 m of onshore pipeline and the associated tie-ins.
Saipem intends to use construction vessels already operating in the region to carry out the offshore scope.
Fabrication for both projects will be performed at Saipem’s Saudi yard in Dammam (Saipem Taqa Al-Rushaid Fabricators), supporting the company’s goal of expanding and strengthening local industry capabilities.
