VIPS 2013 brought the VideoRay community together again, this time in sunny San Diego, California, US. ROV users, dealers and technology partners from around the world flocked to the Paradise Point Resort from 25 to 27 September for three days of ROV presentations, workshops, hands-on demonstrations, exhibits and entertainment.

Users from a wide variety of backgrounds and a wide range of ROV experience – including quite a few ROV newbies – spent three days soaking up knowledge from the pros, getting their hands on some of the latest and greatest technology, and, of course, socializing with fellow members of the VideoRay community.

VIPS 2013 guests had invaluable access to the finest underwater robotic technology, thanks to exhibits and demonstrations from industry leaders like Teledyne BlueView and Teledyne RDI, HYPACK, SeeByte, LYYN, and KCF Technologies Smart Tether.

VIPS 2013 offered attendees an exclusive glimpse into where VideoRay will be heading in the not so distant future. As we continue to improve our technology, expand our capabilities for new industries and job tasks, and grow as a company, VideoRay has kept the same founding principle – making underwater ROV technology available, accessible, and affordable. VIPS is just one of the many ways we strive to bring our technology to the people who need it most.

Our tried and true VIPS formula consists of offering information, training, and demonstrations, while also creating a forum for VideoRay users to discuss our products with each other rather than just our Sales Team. This format makes VIPS mutually beneficial for existing and potential customers, as well as VideoRay.
