MCL Unitex is pleased to announce that the company successfully completed a BSI Audit in June, allowing its ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification to be renewed through to 2020.
The company has also upgraded to the new 2015 standards, meaning it can continue to deliver Pipe penetration seal, Module and Enclosure sealing systems in line with industry requirements.
ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS).
Organisations use the standard to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
ISO 14001:2015 sets out the criteria for an Environmental Management System (EMS). It does not state requirements for environmental performance, but maps out a framework that a company can follow to set up an effective EMS.
It can be used by any company that wants to improve resource efficiency, reduce waste, and drive down costs. Using ISO 14001 can provide assurance that environmental impact is being measured and improved.
