One of our ALD® teams was recently called out in the Middle East for a leak inspection on new subsea installation, including a 16in line and a number of flanges protected by shorouds. The hydrotest revealed a flow loos of just 0.04lt/min (about 0.01gal/min) when pressurised at 70bar (1,015psi). This was the smallest leak ever faced by ALD® in the field and an exciting challenge for our company.

This was the 45th leak detected by ALD® in 18 years of activity and the smallest ever.
