With over 75 employees, a state-of-the-art production facility and global distribution, Ropeblock is a leading supplier for the lifting and wire-rope industry. We are active in all major related industries, ranging from mobile cranes to offshore, and can build on over 30 years of experience on a global scale.
When it comes to lifting products, Ropeblock is an important player in the world market. Due to a large and diversified stock of high-quality components, most of them produced with complete traceability, we are able to support all major markets within short lead times. This stock position supports flexibility and quality in service, a benefit that is appreciated by all our customers.
Our products are used in critical machinery such as port cranes, ship cranes, offshore cranes and platforms, dredging equipment, pendant structures, and mooring systems, as well as in the heavy machinery industry. They operate successfully on all continents, in both subsea environments and on today’s highest skyscrapers.
Many leading crane and wire-rope manufacturers around the world prefer Ropeblock’s offshore sockets and components and our standard of quality. Exports represent 95% of our sales, and our products comply with the very demanding international regulations and standards.
Our core values are relationship, flexibility and quality, and these are reflected in our products and services. 3D modelling capabilities, combined with an in-depth knowledge of the lifting business, enable our customers to obtain the latest design features for their products.
Since 2009, Ropeblock has been based in Oldenzaal, the Netherlands, where our plant has a product-handling capacity that exceeds the highest dead weight requirements. In this modern facility, we utilise state-of-the-art methods in the design and manufacturing of offshore wire-ropes terminations and crane components.
Three decades of specialised engineering and design experience, combined with excellent manufacturing and testing capabilities, has enabled us to gain ISO 9001:2008 certification and recognition by all major certification bodies.
In addition to the certified horizontal test bed for blocks, Ropeblock has a unique vertical test facility dedicated exclusively to our full range of sockets.
