Marine crewing, vessel management and logistics

Our flagship company, GO OFFSHORE, is led by a team of experienced oil and gas master mariners, chief engineers and HR specialists. We prepare, activate and crew marine operations in the offshore oil and gas environment. For oil and construction companies we offer a full spectrum of services, including marine crewing, vessel management, logistics and project management.

The Deep Sea 1 is a large AHTS with 25,200 BHP and 245t bollard pull.
GO ELNATH is one of GO’s newest additions to the fleet. GO has a range of AHTS vessels working throughout the world.

To date GO OFFSHORE’s managed ships have recorded over 1,500,000 man hours, with a keen focus on QHSE and safety, giving the GO OFFSHORE industry-leading statistics. We operate a range of vessels as follows:

Deepwater semisubmersible and jack-up rig moving services

We have Australia’s most experienced team of deepwater semisubmersible and jack-up rig movers available to satisfy legislative and quality assurance requirements. Full Marine Orders 47 compliant rig moving teams are available at any time. Our rig movers provide rig move planning and procedures as well as supervising the entire operation from anchor retrieval to deployment.

We are an ISO 9001 accredited company and hold documents of compliance for registered ships for AMSA (Australian Maritime Safety Authority), Singapore, Belize, Panama, Bahamas, Antigua and Barbuda.

We are pre-approved to work with major oil and gas companies in Australia, including Woodside, Santos, Apache, Conoco Phillips, Chevron, PTTEP Australiasia (Coogee Resources), Shell and Exxon Mobil Australia.

Through our alliance with an international ship broking firm we have exclusive first rights on over 40 newly built vessels and worldwide access to barges, AHTSs, PSVs, tugs, ROV and diving support vessels. We are also involved in JV companies with vessel owners. These combined channels enable us to secure the best fit for purpose vessels to match client requirements.

Accredited marine consultancy services

We are members of International Maritime Contractors Association (IMCA) and utilise the common maritime inspection documentation for vetting and marine inspection work, including noise and asbestos surveys. We provide dynamic positioning consultancy, including failure mode effective analysis, mooring analysis, hazard identification coordination, sea trials, supervising dry docking, and new build Australian vessels and upgrades.

Our team is experienced in constructing and operating vessels under the Australia NOPSA Safety Case regime. We specialise in planning and executing works to ensure imported vessels comply with the Australian regulatory environment and provide third-party quality assurance support.

By utilising in-house expertise and our partners, we provide a full range of marine project planning and management. Our expert team is experienced in coordinating NOPSA, AMSA, AQIS customs, federal and state government approvals, and certification for projects within Australia.

Marine crewing services for the offshore industry

GO’s crewing team delivers a complete personnel service for our inshore and offshore vessels, and the vessels and rigs our clients operate. The crewing team is a dedicated and well-resourced group of professionals versed in all aspects of personnel selection, management and retention.

We specialise in the screening, recruitment, matching and supply of experienced personnel to the offshore drilling and marine companies, offshore and inshore support vessels and logistics. The offshore crewing team has worked offshore, inshore and/or in logistics in a variety of roles, and has a practical appreciation of the calibre of personnel required for different roles.

Our team has practical experience in Australian immigration procedures to ensure working visa applications are processed and issued in a timely manner and our HR system stores all records for later reference. We have partnering agreements with crewing agencies in 14 countries to ensure a seamless transition of crews when our vessels and those of our clients leave Australia to work.

Harbour and port vessel services for offshore operations

GO INSHORE provides harbour and port vessel services, and a range of vessels to support offshore operations. At Port Hedland, our home port, we are port vessel service operator, providing pilot transfer, harbour security patrol, hydrographic survey and channel maintenance vessels. We also have inshore, coastal and ocean-going tugs and barges to support harbour, inshore and offshore civil construction activity.
