BI Norwegian School of Management (BI) offers three Executive MBA programmes and an Executive Master in Energy Management programme, all with a global focus and in partnership with internationally recognised schools.

Associate dean for the Executive MBA programmes, Professor Pål E Korsvold, invites you to an information session on 9 June 2010 at 8.30am at BI (auditorium A2-030), Nydalsveien 37, Oslo, Norway. He will present general information regarding the programmes, and immediately after the meeting programme managers will be available for individual counselling and assistance in the application procedure.

Professor Hanno Roberts will also give a small lecture during the session.

Programmes offered 2010/11 are as follows.

Executive Master in Energy Management

Part-time over twelve months, the Executive Master in Energy Management is organised in cooperation with IFP School and ESCP Europe in France. The programme is professionally oriented and designed for those who want a deeper understanding of the energy field with advanced analytical and managerial skills.

Executive MBA in Shipping, Offshore and Finance

The programme is professionally oriented and designed to give the participants an understanding of the key drivers, management challenges and different strategies in the shipping and offshore industry, by combining the latest research and theory in a practice-oriented ‘hands-on’ approach.

The programme is a joint programme with NTU Nanyang Business School in Singapore and runs over 18 months with six two-week modules.

Executive MBA (general)

The general Executive MBA focuses on strategy, leadership and finance. The programme consists of six two-week modules, including three one-week seminars at destinations such as Singapore, Madrid and San Francisco. It is designed for professionals who need to develop their management skills and enhance their career.

Executive MBA in Energy

The programme is offered in partnership with NTU Nanyang Business School in Singapore and IFP School in Paris, France. The three partner schools each contribute their specific expertise that is based on excellent research and strong links with energy industries, inter-governmental organisations and public authorities worldwide.

The Executive MBA in Energy offers a unique mix of general management issues, energy-oriented courses and specific insights into the Asian and Oceanic regions. The programme runs over 18 months with six two-week modules in Oslo, Singapore and Paris.
