Customised pressure vessels

Anglia Mechanical manufactures a wide range of pressure vessels, each one built to fulfil individual client requirements. Pressure vessels are designed using Finglow software to PD5500, ASME and Stoomwezen standards.

All are constructed strictly in accordance with appropriate national and international codes including PD 5500, ASME VIII – divisions 1 and 2, Stoomwezen and the pressure equipment directive (module G) and CE marked for use in the EU.

Typical vessel types include surge drums, intercoolers, accumulators, liquid receivers, oil separators and economisers. The industry sectors that we supply include refrigeration, petrochemicals and food processing.

Steel-based structural fabrication design, detailing, manufacture and installation

Anglia Mechanical provides a full service to customers in steel-based structural fabrication from design and detailing through manufacture to installation. Design services are available both from the in-house team and from specialist sub-contractors in the event of particular requirements.

Pipe work fabrication and installation

Anglia Mechanical has long experience of fabricating and installing pipe work and associated steelwork, covering an extensive range of piping systems, materials, methods of site installation and high-quality welding.

Associated disciplines include plant and equipment installations, steelwork and support structures and systems, BS-EN 288/ASME IX welding and other specialist jointing techniques.

Our workshops cover 23,500ft² and provide a superb facility for prefabrication of pipe work and steelwork. We provide an internal and external service for high-quality pipe spools, steel sections and other fabrications, which can be on a supply only or supply-and-install basis.

We cater for sizes from 0.5in to 48in diameter, and up to 10t in weight and 12m in length. Our welding procedures cover duplex, mild, alloy and stainless steels.

AutoCAD and SolidWorks software for petrochemical structure design

In order to ensure the right design solution for our clients, we utilise the latest AutoCAD and SolidWorks software for design and drafting works, to produce innovative designs quickly and within budget. Our design engineers are fully competent in the software they use.

Anglia Mechanical offer a full design and detailing service. We can design products and assist with any subsequent tooling or automation required for their manufacture. We can produce drawings of special-purpose machines, equipment and test rigs, ensuring products perform satisfactorily.

Process packages

Anglia Mechanical undertakes the construction of complete process package assemblies incorporating vessel piping and the packaging of units. Our total capability as a solution provider is supported by fully qualified, coded staff, in addition to our team of engineers.

Anglia Mechanical is committed to providing a responsive, personal service, with the flexibility to meet the specialised requirements of our clients. Typical package units include vessel packs, compressor packs and chiller packs.
