After extensive research and planning, our journey started in the Nigerian Delta, combating maritime piracy under extremely aggressive conditions.

Maritime Risk Solutions presents its own weapons training at its shooting range near the head office of MRS in Knysna, South Africa. Formal weapons training accreditation certificates can be obtained. Training is offered on the following weapons:

Accreditations

Management at Maritime Risk Solutions is ISPS accredited by Det Norske Veritas, in accordance with DNV Seaskill Standard for Certification to be Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA) of 2002 compliant, and is issued on behalf of the United States Coast Guard Maritime Center (USCG NMC) and US Maritime Administration (MARAD).

We are also ISM accredited for the safe operation of ships and for pollution prevention as adopted by the IMO and in compliance with the International Convention for SOLAS 1974 for the Safe Operation of Ships.

Maritime Risk Solutions is registered with the Maritime Security Centre for the Horn of Africa (MSCHOA) and the International Maritime Rescue Coordinating Centre.

Maritime Risk Solutions has been certified by the South African Department of International Relations and Coordination as being an officially registered and licensed company and also is a co-signatory to the International Code of Conduct.
