The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 6.4% in June 2021 when compared with May 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 12.52% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2021, and recorded a 1.74% down over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Baker Hughes Holdings IT hiring in June 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Baker Hughes Holdings, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 67.27% in June 2021, and a 35.09% drop over May 2021, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 10.91% in June 2021, and registered a flat growth. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 7.27% in June 2021, a 63.64% drop from May 2021.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in June 2021 with a 38.18% share, which marked a 50% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 36.36%, registering a 13.04% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 21.82% share and a 53.85% drop over May 2021.
