The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 3.41% in July 2021 when compared with June 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 5.97% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2021, and recorded a 0.29% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops BASF IT hiring in July 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by BASF, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 65% in July 2021, and a 14.71% growth over June 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 18.33% in July 2021, and registered a 57.14% an increase. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 8.33% in July 2021, a 66.67% rise from June 2021.
Europe drives IT hiring at BASF
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in July 2021 with a 48.33% share, which marked a 26.09% growth over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 35%, registering a 16.67% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 16.67% share and an 11.11% growth over June 2021.
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 46.67% share in July 2021, a 33.33% growth over June 2021. Malaysia featured next with a 28.33% share, up 41.67% over the previous month.United States recorded a 15% share, an increase of 28.57% compared with June 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead BASF IT hiring activity in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.33%, up by 7.32% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with an 18.33% share, a growth of 83.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 8.33% share, up 66.67% over June 2021.
