
Hungary oil & gas industry registered a 14.4% rise in IT hiring activity in June 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.
The industry’s overall hiring an increased by 12.54% in June 2021 compared with May 2021.
Out of the oil & gas industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 11.56% share in June 2021, recording decrease of 0.11% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Hungary oil & gas industry’s IT recruitment activity in June 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.04% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Hungary oil & gas industry in June 2021.
1) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations recorded a share of 39.22% in June 2021, a 150% growth over the previous month.
2) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a 25.49% share, decline of 13.33% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 25.49%, registering a 62.5% rise from May 2021.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 5.88%, up 50% over the previous month.
Top five oil & gas companies in Hungary IT recruitment activity in June 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 51.52% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Hungary oil & gas industry during June 2021 over May 2021.
Exxon Mobil posted 41 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a rise of 51.85% over the previous month, followed by BP with 3 jobs and a flat growth. Baker Hughes Holdings with 3 IT jobs and MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas with 2 jobs, recorded a 25% drop and a flat growth, respectively, while Syngenta recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during June 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 78.43%, up by 66.67% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 19.61% share, a growth of 11.11% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 1.96% share, flat growth over May 2021.
