Switzerland-based company Syngenta’s IT hiring declined 5.8% in June 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 7.21% in June 2021 when compared with May 2021.
IT jobs claimed an 8.51% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2021, and recorded a 0.34% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Syngenta IT hiring in June 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Syngenta, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 55% in June 2021, and a 21.43% drop over May 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 20% in June 2021, and registered a 50% decline. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 20% in June 2021, a 100% rise from May 2021.
Europe drives IT hiring at Syngenta
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in June 2021 with a 35% share, which marked a 16.67% growth over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 30%, registering a 33.33% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 25% share and a 58.33% drop over May 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 5% and a month-on-month decline of 50%.Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 5%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 25% share in June 2021, a 54.55% decline over May 2021. India featured next with a 25% share, down 37.5% over the previous month.Switzerland recorded a 15% share, an increase of 50% compared with May 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Syngenta IT hiring activity in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 60%, down by 36.84% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 30% share, a decline of 40% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 10% share, flat growth over May 2021.
