France-based company TotalEnergies’s IT hiring increased 12.8% in July 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 4.05% in July 2021 when compared with June 2021.
IT jobs claimed an 11.12% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2021, and recorded a 2.79% growth over the last three-month average share.
Computer Support Specialists tops TotalEnergies IT hiring in July 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by TotalEnergies, Computer Support Specialists emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 39.78% in July 2021, and a 428.57% growth over June 2021, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 33.33% in July 2021, and registered a 20.51% decline. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 10.75% in July 2021, a 9.09% drop from June 2021.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at TotalEnergies
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in July 2021 with a 58.06% share, which marked an 116% growth over the previous month.
North America stood next with 26.88%, registering a 10.71% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with an 11.83% share and a 38.89% drop over June 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 2.15% and a month-on-month increase of 100%.Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.08%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
Philippines commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 56.99% share in July 2021, a 120.83% growth over June 2021. the US featured next with a 26.88% share, down 10.71% over the previous month. France recorded an 8.6% share, decline of 42.86% compared with June 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead TotalEnergies IT hiring activity in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 79.57%, up by 51.02% from June 2021. Entry Level positions with a 10.75% share, a decline of 33.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 9.68% share, flat growth over June 2021.
