Moabit
The CHP plant Moabit has an electrical output of 150 MWe and an installed thermal capacity of about 240 MWth. The generated power is supplied to the 110-kV high-voltage level in the network of Vattenfall Europe Distribution Berlin.
Märkisches Viertel
The biomass CHP plant in the district Reinickendorf with a capacity of 18 MW thermal and 5 MW electrical output marks a milestone of the Berlin’s energy supply: this is the first Vattenfall’s cogeneration plant in Berlin which is using 100% of renewable feedstock – solely wood chips.
