North America extended its dominance for cybersecurity hiring among offshore industry companies in the three months ending February.
The number of roles in North America made up 44.5% of total cybersecurity jobs – up from 20.9% in the same quarter last year. That was followed by South & Central America, which saw a -1.5 year-on-year percentage point change in cybersecurity roles.

The fastest growing country was the US, which saw 18.9% of all cybersecurity job adverts in the three months ending February 2021, increasing to 41.6% in the three months ending February this year.
That was followed by Australia (up 3.2 percentage points), Canada (0.8), and the UK (0.3).

Which cities are the biggest hubs for cybersecurity workers in the offshore industry?
Some 7% of all offshore industry cybersecurity roles were advertised in Houston (US) in the three months ending February.
That was followed by Singapore (Singapore) with 7%, Atlanta (US) with 2.8%, and Bengaluru (India) with 2.7%.
