The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 1.06% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 2.62% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 0.08% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Air Liquide IT hiring in September 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Air Liquide, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 30.95% in September 2021, and a 27.78% drop over August 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 28.57% in September 2021, and registered growth of 100%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 23.81% in September 2021, an 11.11% rise from August 2021.

Europe drives IT hiring at Air Liquide

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 47.62% share, which marked an 81.82% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 40.48%, registering a flat month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with an 11.9% share and a 28.57% drop over August 2021.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 38.1% share in September 2021, a 33.33% growth over August 2021. France featured next with a 21.43% share, up 28.57% over the previous month.

Junior Level jobs lead Air Liquide IT hiring activity in September 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.52%, up by 25% from August 2021. Entry Level positions with a 26.19% share, a growth of 175% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 14.29% share, down 45.45% over August 2021.
