Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at BP

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in June 2022 with a 40.3% share, which marked a 68.75% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 40.3%, registering a 145.45% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 19.4% share and a 550% rise over May 2022.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 29.85% share in June 2022, a 33.33% growth over May 2022. The UK featured next with a 22.39% share, up 114.29% over the previous month. US recorded a 19.4% share, an increase of 550% compared with May 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead BP IT hiring activity in June 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 62.69%, up by 100% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 34.33% share, a growth of 360% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 2.99% share, down 33.33% over May 2022.
